Aircraft Record Reconstruction
Aircraft record reconstruction support for EASA aircraft whose technical records are incomplete, inconsistent, partially missing, or simply not in a state that a CAMO, CAO, MRO or authority would accept. Working only from the records made available, we rebuild a structured picture of the aircraft's history, identify what is supported by evidence, what is missing, and what still needs to be clarified or sourced from third parties.
What this service covers
Records reconstruction is a documentation exercise, not a certification exercise. We do not create maintenance evidence, sign anything off, or issue any release. What we do is organise the available material, map the timeline, identify the gaps that need to be closed, and produce a written package that supports the next step — sale, import, register change, CAMO/CAO transfer, or simply restoring confidence in the file.
Who this service is for
- Owners of aircraft with messy, partial or inherited records
- Buyers facing an aircraft whose records are clearly incomplete
- Importers preparing an aircraft for an EASA register
- CAMO / CAO organisations being asked to accept a problematic file
- Estate sales, insurance recoveries and post-storage returns to service
Documents normally reviewed
- All available logbooks (airframe, engine, propeller, components)
- Loose CRS, maintenance release certificates and work packs
- EASA Form 1 / FAA 8130-3 and other release documents
- AD and SB compliance evidence in any form
- Modification, repair and STC documentation
- Previous CAMO, MRO or authority correspondence
- Import / export documentation and previous register records
Typical findings
- Time periods where no maintenance evidence exists
- Component installations with no traceable release document
- AD/SB compliance claimed in logbook but not supported by evidence
- Conflicting time-in-service values across documents
- Modifications with no approval documentation in the file
- Records requiring clarification with previous CAMO, MRO or owner
What you receive

- Inventory of supporting evidence provided, by section
- List of supporting evidence not provided / open gaps

Important limitation
This service is an independent technical-records review based on the documentation provided by the client. Findings reflect only the records made available for review and any supporting evidence not provided is recorded as a gap. This review does not replace a physical aircraft inspection, an Airworthiness Review Certificate (ARC), CAMO/CAO approval, a maintenance release, legal due diligence, or any form of formal airworthiness certification. We do not certify, approve, release or guarantee the airworthiness of any aircraft.
Request this records review
Tell us about the aircraft, the purpose (purchase, sale, import, lease or CAMO/CAO transfer) and what records are available. You will receive a written scope and fixed fee as soon as possible, normally within one working day.
